Kinga Milankovics is a permaculturist trained in agricultural economics and currently also works as a carer in the UK. She is co-founder of Hekate Foundation, a group that advocates conscious ageing alongside ecological wellbeing. The group founded Ozmosis Carenet, a platform that helps families find care givers and provides training and mediation for care workers in Hungary. Kinga has been active in various women organisations and has received the Active Citizenship Award of the American Embassy, Hungary (2012), State recognition by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Hungary (2008), and the Ford Fellowship in NYC, USA: Developing Community Leaders (2004).
