Alasdair King is Professor of Screen and Media Arts at Queen Mary University of London.  His current work tracks finance capital, AI, and cybernetics across contemporary film and artists’ moving image. He is the author of The Financial Image: Finance, Philosophy, and Contemporary Film (2024) and Hans Magnus Enzensberger: Writing, Media, Democracy (2007) as well as numerous articles on contemporary film and aesthetics.
